Wild Chamomile

Wild Chamomile

Fragrant chamomile

Wild chamomile is an annual herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family from the genus Matricaria. It grows in abundance in northern Morocco and in the Gharb region where it has been distilled since the 1970s. It flowers from may to july. The plant is harvested by hand and is then distilled. Changes in climate have a powerful effect on the flower’s development and generous harvests often alternate with poor ones.
