Jasminum grandiflorum, the large-flowered royal jasmine, or Poet’s Jasmine, is a species of the genus Jasminum from the Oleaceae family. The name Jasmine comes from the Persian “Yasmeen” and has been present in Eastern Mediterranean culture since earliest times. Among more than 200 species, Jasminum grandiflorum, is still one of the most used aromas in perfumery. The Jasminum grandiflorum flower has a unique, sweet, floral, fruity, sensual and powdered aroma. Harvesting season extends from July to november.
